Responsibilities and Duties 
 
Reporting to the Chief Engineer you will: 
 

• Perform engineering analysis, calculations and relay coordination studies on substation and transmission facilities.
• Develop engineering designs for projects.
• Generate and peer review single line diagrams, AC / DC schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Create specifications and bid documents for projects.
• Assist in the design of substation and transmission systems.
• Performing protection coordination studies.
• Use tools such as Aspen One Liner, SEL AcSELerator, Grid Configurator, Enoserve, PowerBase, eQuorum ImageSite DMS for engineering analysis, calculations and design

Professional qualifications 
 

We are looking for someone with the following: 
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Courses or practical experience in relaying applications for electrical power transmission and substation.
• A minimum of 2 years experience with an electric utility
